Chase Culp was more than an Eagles basketball player — he was a beloved teammate, a loyal friend, and a joyful spirit who brought heart and hustle to everything he did. His smile lit up the court, and his kindness touched everyone lucky enough to know him.

On August 30, 2024, our world changed forever.

At just 12 years old, Chase was taken from us in a tragic car accident. The loss left a void, one that only Jesus could fill.

As we walked through the darkest grief, we experienced something extraordinary. Family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, and even strangers surrounded us with love, encouragement, and prayer. Most importantly, we experienced the faithful presence of Jesus. He carried us day by day, gave us a peace that surpasses understanding, and taught us the difference between temporary happiness and the lasting joy found only in Him.

From that heartbreak, God planted a new purpose.

Rather than allowing tragedy to define Chase’s story, we chose to let his legacy continue through the lives of others. CHASExcellence was born from a desire to transform pain into purpose by investing in young athletes who exemplify excellence. The CHASExcellence Scholarship honors an athlete who lives out the core values of our program — just as Chase did.

This award helps cover team costs and gear for deserving athletes who represent these values.

Young athlete, age 17 or under, in any sport
May be submitted by the athlete or their coach/coaching staff
Scholarship will be paid to the head coach or administrator of the team
Parents will be notified of the scholarship amount
